Psychosocial Assessment

The Family Assessment Service conducts diagnostic clinical psychological assessments to ascertain the presence and impact of a psychological condition on a parent's functioning and the parent's capacity to meet the care and protection needs of their children. Comprehensive and evidence based assessments incorporate the use of testing and objective measures to ascertain functioning, treatment recommendations, and  prognosis, to assist with child protection decision-making and parenting interventions.
